FACT CHECK: Video Of Volcano Eruption Is AI

February 13th, 2025
The image captures a breathtaking aerial view of a volcanic landscape during what appears to be either dawn or dusk, given the soft, diffuse lighting. The main focus is a prominent volcano actively emitting smoke or steam, which signifies geological activity. The natural palette is dominated by muted earth tones—various shades of browns and beiges blanket the terrain, providing a sense of serenity and untouched wilderness. The sunlight casts subtle shadows, emphasizing the contours and textures of the landscape, conveying the ruggedness of the environment. Surrounding the volcano, the vast expanse seems desolate and devoid of any visible plant life or human activity, underscoring the planet's raw natural beauty. The overall effect is one of solemnity and the power of natural processes, evoking a sense of wonder at the scale and grandeur of the scene. Lummi/Public/Mariana Pedroza
