A post shared on X claims to show an astronaut when she returned back to Earth.

Verdict: Misleading

The astronauts returned in white suits, not blue. Other photos show her hair graying.

Fact Check:

Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore spent nine months in space before they returned to Earth on a SpaceX capsule, according to The New York Times. They were originally supposed to spend 8 days there, per the outlet.

Social media users are claiming that Williams returned with dark roots in her hair despite having gray hairs during her time on the International Space Station. One user wrote, “Calm down everyone. They have a beauty salon on the ISS which is how she returned with dark roots.”

This claim is misleading. The astronauts did not return in blue suits but in white suits. Images shared by NASA show them in white suits. (RELATED: Has Elon Musk Launched A Public Campaign To Terminate ‘The View?’)

A video shared by the White House’s rapid response account shows her with graying hair.

“After 286 days in space, @Astro_Suni is finally home,” the account tweeted.
